The New Launching | Samsung Kids Home for Peace of Mind

Parents care a great deal about their children’s safety, both physical and these days, digital. After all, if unmonitored, the internet can be a vortex of material that’s not so appropriate for children. With Samsung Kids Home mode, you can relax knowing your kids can just be kids. 

Launch Samsung Kids Home

Swipe down from the top of the screen using two fingers to access the Quick Settings Panel. Swipe to and select Kids Home. Touch Next, and then set up a Kids Home PIN.

Note: If you set up a secure screen lock for your phone, you can also use it in Kids Home.

If you do not see Kids Home in your Quick Settings Panel, touch More Options, and then touch Buttonorder. Drag Kids Home to the Quick Settings Panel, and then touch Done.

Use Samsung Kids Home

The interface is very simple, and the apps on Kids Home function slightly differently. For example, My Phone can only dial contacts set by the parent – AKA, you!

To edit preferences, touch More Options, and then touch Parental control. Enter your PIN and then customize the desired options such as Set daily playtime or Allowed content.

To turn off Kids Home, touch More Options, and then touch Close Kids Home.

There you have it, you can manage what your children are being exposed to while still giving your children freedom to use the phone. It’s the best of many worlds.
